At our CMS children's home in Eruthavoor, Kerala, we had the privilege of being a part of Soumya's remarkable journey. Born in November 1986, Soumya faced early hardships when her father left the family. However, her resilient mother took on the responsibility of being the family's sole provider, working as a coolie. In recognition of the financial challenges her family faced, Soumya's mother made the difficult decision to enroll her in our CMS children's home. There, Soumya received the care, support, and opportunities that set her on a path towards a promising future. In 2005, Soumya joined Vinoba Nagar and undertook vocational training, which became a pivotal moment in shaping her life. Eager to enhance her skills further, she pursued house mother training at HMT in Nagercoil. She later went on to serve as a compassionate house mother at CMS homes in Malanchani and Puthenkadai, positively impacting the lives of numerous children within our CMS community. In a heartwarming twist of fate, Soumya found love within our CMS family, marrying one of our former students. Today, she is happily settled in Coonoor, blessed with two children, and proudly contributes to our organization as a proficient Computer Operator at the Alumni desk in our CMS Central Office. Soumya's journey exemplifies the transformative power of love, support, and education that our organization strives to provide to every individual. We are immensely proud to have played a role in her remarkable story and witness her thriving in both her personal and professional life. Soumya's success stands as a testament to the lasting impact of the CMS community, and we remain committed to creating a nurturing environment where every individual can flourish and make a positive difference in the world."
