The North Tamilnadu Area covers the Units in Dharmapuri, Villupuram and Chengelpet Districts of Tamilnadu. They are the most backward and undeveloped Districts.
The Units covered under North Tamilnadu Area are Serapattu Children’s Village, Eriyur Children’s Village, Dharmapuri Children’s Village, Vaniyambadi Children’s Village, Vaniyambadi Primary school and Chennai Boys’ Home. The Area Office started in Chennai, capital of Tamilnadu, was shifted to Dharmapuri in 1998 for the convenience of monitoring the Units under this Area.
The Area Office is responsible for the administration and functioning of all the Units in this area. The Area Manager functions focussing to demonstrate the love of God in action among the staff, children and common public with the motto to actualize the vision of the Mission. He is a part of the management to strive hard to strike at the objectives. He is helping for the growth and development of the Units. He has to monitor, supervise the work, guide the staff and counsel the children. He has to maintain good relationship with Government departments and private institutions nearby. He inspects the Units, protects the properties and trains
the subordinates for good leadership. In fact, the roles of the Area Manager are: Manager, Father figure, Counselor, Guide, Pastor, Teacher, Helper, Public Relation Officer, Promoter, Disciplinarian, Spiritual man, Leader etc.
